What are the steps of my surgery?
- On the day of the surgery, you will first arrive to the pre-operative unit where a nurse will insert an IV line.
- Once you are ready, you will enter the operating room and the anaesthetist will proceed with the general anaesthesia which is the preferred method of anaesthesia for thyroid surgery.
